I didn't have enough sleep last night.
My mind seems restless..
and it refuses to let my heart win.

As you see, I'm caught between the idea of a dream-like bliss and a miserable heartache. Yes, I know I'm overanalyzing. You know I can't help it.

HE was her welcome distraction.
SHE was his ultimate inspiration.

YES, she has faith in him..
but unlike for someone she had before,
she chooses not to show it still.

YES, she likes him..
but she's afraid of something she can't figure out,
maybe of getting hurt, I guess?

YES, she is happy with him..
but she fears some things might fall apart,
so she needs to play safe this time.

YES, she wants to love and feel loved..
but with the nightmarish experience before,
she's never keeping her guards down again.

YES, she vowed not to fall this time..
but she has faith in him, she likes him,
and she is happy with him..

.. so maybe it's time to open her heart
for something wonderful once again.

Maybe this time she'll give her heart another chance..
maybe this time, she'll take the risk once more..
maybe this time, she'll take the fall.

Maybe..
just maybe,
but who knows?

I don't mind getting all tired and wasted just this once..
Coz I've got more than enough reasons to celebrate.

First of all, Happy happy 18th to my ever-dearest friends, Gabz Agua and Ced Doroja. Oh yes, thanks for the YC treat. Love it! & you know I love you 2.

Second, YFC Fresh Party. I am so looking forward to the next get-togethers. :)

Third, FJ's with Kuya Eric, Kuya OJ, Ate Nins, Jaro and Jethro. Super fun, I tell you. Swear, I'd rather spend more time bonding with them than rest alone. Seriously, they mean so much to me.

Fourth. I passed Accounting! :) My present grades are fine. Well, you know I was expecting it to turn the other weay around. Hurrah for me, coz I am FINALLY getting back on track and regaining my most wanted focus.

Duty for ComAch's junior officers is starting tomorrow. So I am really going to get busy. It's all good. I'm all for school now. :)

Is it pure attraction or mere infatuation?
I honestly don't know.
Though I've already admitted to liking someone.

I never felt anything like this for someone, for the longest time.

I'm pretty much contented as to where my life's heading right now.
I may be confused,
but I can say I'm okay.

I don't have to make a big deal out of it.

Anyway..
I know it's not love.
It's not YET love.
I don't want to risk anything yet.

I know it'll take some more time. :)

My academic life has been so far, so good. :) I finally received my first-quiz results. 40/50 Economics, 90 Ethics (I really thought I'm going to fail this), and 30/30 Humanities. Mayabang ako, tsamba lang eh. Haha. I'm still waiting for my Accounting though.

Accounting class tomorrow, and I'm still not feeling well. :|

I wasn't able to attend OC's first task earlier.
I really want to join and participate.
I swear... I just can't focus.

Focus. Focus. Focus.
I need to focus, badly.

Good thing, quizzes aren't that hard right now.
Coz seriously, I wasn't able to review my lessons.
I'd rather sleep than read.
Boo.

I believe my grades are still okay.
Though I think I failed one exam.
